Win A Storm Chasing Holiday To The USA With Netweather

Taken on the 7th May 2011, nr Joplin
Flying cows and huge tornadoes lifting cars into the air are usually the images which are conjured when storm chasing is mentioned - usually helped by memories of the film ‘Twister’.

The reality isn’t quite so Hollywood as the best view is from a safe distance and one lucky winner will be heading out to Tornado Alley for the trip of a lifetime chasing down what are some of the most spectacular storms on planet earth this Spring.

UK based weather forecasting company Netweather have been running storm chasing tours for 5 years now and have regularly witnessed the violent supercells and tornadoes as they rumble across the States. This year they will have chase teams out on the plains from May through to the end of June with the winner of the competition joining one of the 10 day chasing holidays.

The competition closes this Saturday & the lucky winner will then just have a matter of weeks to wait before heading out to the USA for an incredible trip run by our experienced and knowledgeable team.

For those who don’t win the competition there are still a handful of places available for the 2012 chases, but even if you can’t make it to the USA it’s still possible to experience the next best thing as all of the action will be streamed live on Netweather from day 1 of Tour 1 in May.
