Following the release of The Inbetweeners Movie, Club 18-30 has seen an increase in searches for clubbing holidays to Malia. In the finale to the award winning E4 sitcom, Will, Neil, Simon and Jay head off to this popular clubbing resort in Crete. Holiday experts expect that the film will set the travel trend for 2012.

“Early indications show more interest than ever before for Malia since The Inbetweeners Movie was released last week,” said Russell Whitton, Club 18-30's trading manager. “Whilst it's only been a few days since the film’s release, it is a positive sign Malia will be the place to go in 2012 for young holiday makers."

Thanks to its abundance of clubs with big name DJs, trendy bars and fine sandy beaches, Malia is one of the most popular tourist locations in Europe already. Many young people choose to book their holidays through Club 18-30, the UK's largest Youth Specialist Tour Operator, because their package holiday deals to Malia start from £175 per person.

Club 18-30 teamed up with the new movie based on the award winning Channel 4 comedy series The Inbetweeners, in a partnership that saw 100 Club 18-30 representatives and retail staff feature as extras in the film.

Club 18-30 enjoyed exclusive promotional rights within the travel sector in exchange for supporting the film, which included flying out staff to Magaluf in Majorca for a once in a lifetime week of filming. With the film’s release this week, Club 18-30 will use the partnership to raise brand awareness during the peak booking time for late escapes and for early bookings for Summer 2012.
